Understand the customer checkout journey on cowtic, from the public event page through confirmation and digital tickets.

Customers buy tickets on your public event page. Guest checkout is supported — no account required.

Event page

Public URL: cowtic.com/e/{event-slug}

Private events require the secret link: cowtic.com/e/{event-slug}?secret={access-secret}

On the event page customers see event details, ticket types, prices, and remaining inventory (when enabled).

Select tickets — Choose ticket types and quantities (up to max per order per type), then proceed to checkout.
Review order — On the checkout review page, customers see the cart, discount field, guest name and email, custom form fields, shipping address (if physical delivery), and company name (if enabled).
Pay or complete — Free orders complete immediately; paid orders redirect to zahls.ch and return to the confirmation page.
Confirmation — On the confirmation page, tickets arrive by email as PDF with QR codes.

If the guest email already belongs to a user, checkout may redirect to the sign-in page. Customers can also continue as guest where allowed.

Links with ?ref={code} attribute sales to affiliates.

Returning customers can view orders in the customer portal when signed in.
