Affiliate Program

Affiliates are partners who promote your event with a unique tracking link. When a sale uses their link, cowtic records clicks and conversions and calculates their commission.

Open Affiliates

Go to Events and open your event
Select the Affiliates tab

Create an affiliate

Click Create affiliate.
Fill in the form — name, email, commission type and value, and active status.
Save — cowtic generates a tracking code and shows the full link in the Affiliates table.

Tracking link format

After saving, copy the link from the Affiliates table. It follows this pattern:

Format: cowtic.com/e/your-event-slug?ref=AFFILIATE_CODE

Share this link with the affiliate. Clicks and conversions are attributed when customers complete checkout with the ref parameter.

Performance metrics

The Affiliates table shows per partner:

Clicks — link visits tracked
Conversions — completed orders with this affiliate code
Earned — commission total in the event currency

Edit and delete

Use the row actions to edit affiliate details or delete an affiliate. Deleting removes future tracking for that code.

Analytics — overall event performance
Orders — orders attributed to affiliates
Events — event setup
